Da Cabinets Da Cabinets

I can't help but think of Tee-Too on Fantasy Island when he got so excited when he saw the plane coming to the island with it's guest.....I feel like that today....We got the cabinets installed....Oh yeah!!!! I am truly starting to see we might actually get this house finished in my lifetime!!!

I finished painting the mud room...so, now I will move into the laundry room and get that textured...Not looking forward to that...I am sick and tired of texturing...

Also, discovered a big mistake made...we now have to tile the counter tops instead of Formica...because of the way the corner of the cabinets are, the seam would hit where the sink goes and you can't have that....just a learning process.....

I am getting excited to finish this....

It's the Room that NEVER ends....

Okay, I am making pretty good progress....I have almost finished putting the texture on the walls in the "mud~room"...In fact one of my dearest friends came to the house to see the progress and bring me a much welcomed strawberry shake showed me a new "texturing" technique that looked much better and was MUCH faster, so I finished the walls with that.......FINISHED!!!! Now I can paint....Oh wait, there is a wall going to the back yard I had not done...are you kidding me....I just finished cleaning up the texture.......Now, I got to get it all back out....I was so mad I got the paint out and painted the corners so I can roll the walls tomorrow....But I will have to finish that one wall....I swear I think those walls grow...This has taken FOREVER!!!!!

I'm really holding out hope to get the cabinets hung this weekend so we can move forward in the kitchen....But I have held out hope on a lot of things and was let down....so, I'm okay if it doesn't happen....I just REALLY REALLY REALLY want this house on the market by September and I am running out of August quickly!!!!

I'm So Excited~ I just can't hide it!!

Another productive day!!!!!! I finished painting the kitchen....Now all we need is to install the cabinets :/ and stage...My favorite part!!!!

Then I moved into the "mudroom" and almost finished texturing the walls...I just got tired and had to quit....It is beginning to look soooo good.....

My oldest came over and mowed, edged, and blew away the grass...Now it looks good again.....

At the end of the day, my husband put the cabinets in the kitchen so we could see how they are going to look....It was so exciting....It is beginning to look a lot like finishing!!!!

We are in panic mode right now...Well, I am....We need the money now to pay tuition for the boys private school....so, it needs to be sold...They start in ONE week!!! YIKES!!!
